Making Cake!

A few weeks ago was my friend Joni's birthday, and of course both our husbands were gone hunting so I thought it might be fun to make birthday cakes. 

This is the cake Joni made, for herself, it turned out so cute!  Maybe I should have made hers but who knows, maybe people like making their own birthday cakes!? 

This is the cake I made for my Mom, who had a birthday the next day.  Happy Birthday Mom!  Just in case you can't tell it's supposed to be a giant chocolate doughnut.
I have discovered that I love working with fondant and am just waiting for the next opportunity to make more goodies.
